A spur of the moment sauce that is really tasty on chicken. Aaron is my son who works in the food industry. He is always creating sauces for different meals. Tonight he made this one and is turned out fantastic.
1/2 Granny Smith Apple diced
1/8 cup Butter
1/8 tsp Cinnamon
Few shakes Garlic, Seasoning salt and Allspice
1/4 cup Apple sauce
1/4 cup beer (Aaron drank the rest)
2/3 cup Memphis BBQ sauce
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
Make a rue to thicken. Use 1 oz butter and 1 oz flour
Stir in the above mixture to the rue.
Brush chicken with the sauce after partial cooking.
Cover chicken with apple mixture when serving.
