Microwave Fudge

by Technocook on October 12, 2008

This recipe was created by my sister-in-law because she didn’t have the time to spend making the long version. It is one of the best fudge recipes that I have ever tasted. We have shared this recipe with many people, and they can’t believe how easy it is to make!

1 stick Butter
1 box 10x Powdered or confectioners’ sugar
1/3 to 1/2 cup Unsweetened cocoa
1/4 cup Evaporated or regular milk
1/2 cup Chopped nuts (amount depends on your taste)
1 teaspoon Vanilla (other flavorings, such as mint and raspberry can be used to get some great tastes)

Place 1 stick of butter in a large microwavable bowl, and microwave on high for 1 minute 25 seconds. Stir into the butter the powdered sugar, unsweetened cocoa, and evaporated or regular milk. Microwave for 2 minutes and then remove and stir for 1 minute. Add in the chopped nuts and teaspoon vanilla, stirring for about 2 to 3 minutes more. Pour this mixture into a greased plate or pan. (Spray grease works well in a pie plate.) Cool in the refrigerator.

We also put black walnut flavoring into the recipe or crushed up candy canes depending on the season.

Enjoy
