by Technocook on August 28, 2008

At Thanksgiving, there is always one or 2 dishes that you can’t go without.  One is Mom’s stuffing and the other is Donna’s Sweet Potatoes.

Donna is a wonderful southern cook.  I first tasted this about 10 years ago and fell in love with it.  It is so good that I need to be careful how much of it I eat.  I hope that you like it as much as I do.

2 – Sticks butter, melted

3/4 C – sugar

1 – tsp vanilla

2 – beaten eggs

1 – 29oz and 1 16oz can sweet potatoes

mix the above ingredients together in a bowl and put it into a  baking dish

topping:

1/3 C – butter

1/2 C – sugar

1/3 C – flour

3/4 C – chopped pecans

Mix the topping together in a bowl and then sprinkle on top of the  sweet potatoes

Put it in the oven at 350 for about 30 minutes
