I was looking for a way to get an off the shelf pasta sauce for a party that could be eaten by a friend with food allergies. After some research and almost giving up, I decided to call the manufacturer of Bertolli’s sauces.
I was pleasantly surprised that the sauce has no preservatives. The customer service was very helpful. We walked through the ingredients of the tomato and basil sauce and found only fresh ingredients. No milk products or citrus, and no general statements about “Natural Flavors” but a statement that said; Spices. I was pleased to find out that the Customer Service Department had the list of ingredients.
To take it even further, my customer service person (Johni) asked me to hold and went to the supervisor to be sure all was correct. Thank You Bertolli and your customer service.
