This is a wonderful and simple Cake Recipe.
Vanilla cake
1 cup of flour
1 cup of sugar
1/2 pound of butter
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
4 eggs
Put into your mixer and mix till smooth
Put it into a 9″ pan (buttered w/ parchment on bottom) then into the oven at 350 for about 40 minutes.
I let this cool and then cut into 2 layers and put Dulce de Leche on the layer with a pastry brush. (I don’t even ice it. Cold milk and cake. Mmmmm)
